We are happy to announce the 2018 SBC Surf has hit the newsstands. If you have not grabbed a copy with highly recommend doing so, available from coast to coast in most major surf shops and newsstands.
Feature articles include an in-depth conversation with Noah Cohen covering his latest film “Transition,” that is a small documentary on his life and last year of free surfing and competitive trips towards his Olympic push.
Next up, is a 12 page Panama strike mission shot by our very own newly acquired co-editor / senior photographer Scotty Sherin. Going deep into the jungle the boys scored the best tropical swell of the season featuring Shannon Brown, Logan Landry, Kevin Schultz, and Noah Collins.
We are very proud to have a photo feature the hardest working surfers of the nation, who are landlocked and deal with some of the harshest conditions out of us all surfing in the cold Great Lakes. 10 pages of beautiful images from each lake for your viewing pleasure.
In this issue, we also added 16 pages and increase the Views Photo Gallery section featuring the best images from a year in Canadain surf.
Lastly the Hurricane season out East was one for the books, special guests Torrey Meister, Albee Layer, and Mark McInnis tell short stories covering their experiences in the Maritimes scouring the coast for what hurricane Maria had on offer.
