JACK FREESTONE TAKES STOP #2 OF THE RED BULL AIRBORNE BALI.

In competitive surfing, it seems as though no matter what the conditions, there is always a post heat interview saying what was wrong with the waves for their heat to have gone sour. And, in stop number two of the 2019 Red Bull Airborne, the conditions may have been on the small side, but with hot sun and glassy, punchy ramps, no one was complaining. Is this because the Airborne series consists mainly of free surfers who are not worried about points and next years qualification, instead, having fun and trading waves with friends for the chance of $20K? This could be, but in the end the second stop of the year, Jack Freestone, another CT surfer took the prize purse out from under the hungry aerialist.
