We Canadians have a solid contingency of females in the water from coast to coast. From old to young it shows year after year with the magnitude of contestants at the “Queen of the Peak” competition and the daily crowd in the water. Over the past two years we have noticed a couple up and coming surfers throughout the Nationals and trips up the coast and highlighted one of the favourites in our recent issue by the name of Jasmine Porter. She is a true Tofino local, with her family roots going as far back as her grandfather opening Tofino’s first general store. She filled out a small Q&A for us, scroll down for more from Jasmine.
