Some 3,500km north of Surf City, USA exists a place where a culture of wave-riding is seemingly as old as time. That place is Haida Gwaii, an archipelago off of Canada’s west coast. There, Canadian surfers Mathea Olin and Paige Alms experienced the intersection of canoe and surfboard design while paddling into the stunning waves that Haida Gwaii has on tap. Thank you to the Council of the Haida Nations for their support in making this film.
Riders: Mathea Olin, Paige Alms, Gwaliga Hart.
