The Second Annual WESTCOAST TRIPLE PLANK is officially on for May 3rd-5th 2018!

The WESTCOAST TRIPLE PLANK is a friendly SNOW, SKATE and SURF Event held in Ucluelet, Tofino and Mount Washington Alpine Resort on Vancouver Island, BC.

100% of proceeds are donated to CENTRAL WESTCOAST FOREST SOCIETY, a local registered charity working on restoring local forest and stream ecosystems.

Anyone can enter for as many events as they want, we encourage everyone to enter at least two. Only surf has limited spots. There will be awards for each category and also for Trifecta (all three overall) winners.

 

 Event Schedule:


MAY 3RD:
4:00 PM: CHECK-IN and TREE PLANTING in UCLUELET with Central Westcoast Forest Society. Bring your gloves and gumboots! We will be planting native trees and shrubs in the CWFS salmon habitat restoration sites. Meeting at 4:00 PM at the Junction Visitor Centre.

MAY 4TH:
8:00 AM- 12:00 PM SURFING at COX BAY, TOFINO, Heats format
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM SKATEBOARDING at TOFINO SKATEPARK, Jam format

APRES at Tofino Brewery

MAY 5TH:
11:00 – 5:00 PM SNOWBOARDING at MOUNT WASHINGTON, Hand dug banked slalom.
7:00 PM – 11:00 PM SILENT AUCTION, PIZZA DINNER (free for each participant), AWARDS and PINATA AND KARAOKE PARTY at Ted’s BAR and Grill at MOUNT WASHINGTON LODGE followed by PARKING LOT Rvs and tents CAMPOUT!

The Central Westcoast Forest Society (CWFS) is a registered charity on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Created on November 1995, CWFS works with local and regional communities to fix problems created by past forest practices and to find solutions to move into the future.
